A WING….

magical realism, transportation, liberty, freedom, a whim, soaring over land, space, space, space, new territory to occupy, passengers boarding,  anticipation, joyous, coasting, hopeful, very. winging it, escape, adventure, riding high, greeting clouds, flight, fantasy, dreamy, chasing dreams, flocking, azure blue skies, cloud surfing, a propelling mission, sans frontier, ascent to heaven, the art of being, panoramic autumnal rhythms, descending, spanning, observing, measuring, commending……..

A PREY……

exploitation, did you have to hide? pretend? Be duplicitous, eagle swooping, hornet’s nest, ahhhh! competition, competitor, man up or be preyed upon, shrinking, invisible, living ghost, dead, time for prayer, ‘O God, help me!’ innocence besieged, arrested, taking advantage of, pulling a fast one on, the bogey man, one greasy machine that dehumanises, vicarious living, on the charm offensive, little red riding hood, magpie eyes, fools gold,  staking claim, stalking, mine, mine, mine! power inflation, status over reach, aren’t we all equal? Persecuted, un-protected, vulnerable, cheated, shaming, predatory behaviour rewarded in status, keen business acumen, just surviving……

A SONG……

the singer’s muse, a tonic, balming the wounds, hitting the soul, sing me one, let it out, lift me up,  voccal cord vibrate, hear me out now, a refrain, that song from If film. Did you not know: a Congolese children choir,  deep down, harmonies, echolalia, babbling, playing in tunnels, the industry of life, wakefulness, dawn chorus, listening to oneself, a heart beat, contentment, humming, drumming, instruments, the caged bird, cats choir, out of tune, does it matter? Wordless, made up. La la la la. Muted, yet still singing, only silently…..
